Ledebouria Socialis - The fascinating houseplant with patterned leaves

Discover Ledebouria Socialis, formerly known as Scilla Violacea. This plant will delight you with its patterned leaves and hyacinth-like flowers. The undersides of the leaves are a vibrant reddish-purple color, which makes for a fascinating contrast to the leaf pattern. Ledebouria Socialis grows in loosely arranged groups and forms many new secondary bulbs from the main bulb, much like a hyacinth. Its inflorescence consists of numerous small green and white flowers that make the plant even more striking. Care for this bulb is simple. During the growing season from spring to summer, it needs more water, while in winter it needs less water. Be sure to avoid waterlogging and remove excess water from the saucer. Do not water Ledebouria Socialis again until the soil is almost dry.
